Update on 2020 Ride

 

What a YEAR this Spring has been!

 

2020 has been anything but what we expected. Ever the optimist, I am determined to find silver linings every day… more time to get projects done that have been on a list for years, finding new projects, more quality time with my fur babies, more time to SHED my fur babies, and more time to organize and purge (my house, the barn, the garage…). I have chosen to focus on the things I have control over, as to not focus on the things I cannot control. I have also had lots of time to think… which has been both dangerous and productive at the same time! And I have spent many hours thinking about the Ride 2020, as there are so many things at play. Our Mission

 

Welcome to the home of the Massachusetts Ride for the Ribbon®, a non-profit dedicated to the fight against breast cancer! The MA Ride is an annual charity event that combines horse riding and raising money to benefit Massachusetts resident breast cancer patients and their families.

 

​We hope you will want to be a part of our organization and event. This website will help you learn more about us, how to get involved, and where the money that we raise is spent. It is our hope that you will want to join us in making a difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families who live in our communities.

 

It is a trail ride consisting of dirt roads, railroad bed, wooded trails and some paved roads covering approximately 9.8 miles. For people who ride horses and want to support a great cause, this is the event for you!

 

The money you help us raise makes a direct impact on the lives of Massachusetts residents. All of the money raised goes toward funding education, screening, and treatment programs for women and men in our own state, making a difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer.

 

We couldn’t put on a successful annual event like this without the support and participation of many wonderful people. Appreciation and gratitude go out to our sponsors, volunteers, and riders!

 

CHARITY PARTNER

The Massachusetts Ride for the Ribbon® is proud to have partnered with Family Health Center of Worcester in recent years. Money raised by our wonderful riders is donated in the form of a grant directed toward funding education, screening, and treatment programs for women and men in Massachusetts.
